Mr. Oliver has over 34 years of industry experience and has spent the last 13 years with the Birchill stream of companies. Mr. Oliver currently holds the position of President & CEO of Birchill Canada. He spent the prior 6 years as President & CEO of Birchill Exploration and prior to that, spent 7 years as VP Finance & CFO of Birchill Resources and Birchill Energy. Before joining Birchill, Mr. Oliver held senior finance positions with several energy companies including Canadian Hunter Exploration, Calahoo Petroleum Ltd. and Aquila Inc.
Rhonda Stewart, CGA
Chief Financial OfficerMs. Stewart has 22 years of industry experience and currently holds the position of CFO of Birchill Canada. Ms. Stewart spent the prior 6 years as CFO of Birchill Exploration. Prior to that, Ms. Stewart held several senior and executive positions with junior energy companies including Real Resources Inc., Drumlin Resources Ltd., and Arrow Energy Ltd.
Dean Williams, P. Geol.
Vice President, ExplorationMr. Williams joined Birchill Canada Limited Partnership in January 2015 as VP of Exploration. Mr. Williams has 26 years of industry experience as a professional geologist and spent the last 9 years with Devon Canada where he held several graduating positions, with the last 5 years as Exploration Manager of Central and Southern Plains Regions of Alberta. Prior to that, Mr. Williams worked for a number of energy companies including Pioneer Natural Resources Canada Ltd., Beau Canada Exploration Ltd. and Pinnacle Resources Ltd. Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Calgary and is a member of APEGGA, CSPG and AAPG.

Birchill Canada - Success in the Spirit River
Birchill Canada's 100% owned shallow-cut gas plant was placed on production in April 2018. The gas plant is located in the Brazeau/Chambers area at 4-13-43-13W5 with current capacity of 45 Mmcf/d and expandable to 100 Mmcf/d. The plant is tied in via meter station directly to the NGTL main line.
Bregal Investments completes sale of Birchill Exploration Limited Partnership
NEW YORK June 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bregal Investments is pleased to announce the sale of privately held Birchill Exploration Limited Partnership to TriOil Resources Ltd. for total proceeds of approximately CAD$256 million. The transaction was pursuant to a share purchase agreement which closed on June 5, 2014 and included approximately 4,000 boepd of production (40% liquids), 2P reserves of 26.6 million boe and bank debt of CAD$62 million that was retired at closing.
Harvest Energy Trust Acquires Birchill Energy
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 15, 2006) - Harvest Energy Trust ("Harvest") (TSX:HTE.UN) (NYSE:HTE) is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced acquisition of a private Western Canadian oil and natural gas producer, Birchill Energy Limited ("Birchill"), for approximately $440 million. The transaction will be financed with Harvest's existing bank credit facilities.
Shiningbank Energy Acquires Birchill Resources
On March 8, 2004, Shiningbank Energy Income Fund acquired all outstanding shares of Birchill Resources Ltd., a private oil and gas company, for $169.2 million. The acquisition was financed in part by a bought deal equity financing in the amount of $150 million, underwritten by a syndicate led by CIBC World Markets Inc., and included BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc., TD Securities Inc., National Bank Financial and FirstEnergy Capital Corp.
